(Whatley, MA) Massachusetts State Police are looking for help from the public after a high speed chase of speeds up to 120mph yesterday gave no fruit. At approximately 10:45am yesterday morning a Massachusetts State Trooper from the Northampton Barracks stopped a black Nissan Maxima with attached plates. Attached plates are plates belonging to and on a different vehicle. The suspect fled the stop before the stop was complete, and a pursuit was initiated that lead to speeds of up to 120mph. Vermont State Police were notified of the vehicle headed in their direction, however no Massachusetts State Police or local police were available to assist with deflation devices so pursuit was terminated in Greenfield. A follow up investigation is being conducted.
