(Leverett, MA) The town of Leverett has begun the process of creating a long-term police agreement with the town of Wendell. Leverett has been providing police services to Wendell since Chief Edward Chase retired last October. According to Town Administrator Marjorie McGinnis, Leverett will apply for a state grant that would pay for a consultant to finalize a long-term agreement between the two towns.
