(Montague, MA) — The town of Montague is preparing to make history next week. On February 25th, Montague will become the first town in Franklin County to conduct a special town meeting remotely. Town meeting members and Montague officials held a practice meeting last night using Zoom Webinar and Virtual Voting technology provided by Options Technology Incorporated. Another practice meeting will be held on Saturday morning in advance of Thursday’s meeting, which will feature 10 warrant articles including a measure which will allow the town’s Airport Commission to buy the Pioneer Aviation building at the Turners Falls Airport.
