(Greenfield, MA) — The Greenfield Police Department is looking to become more active in the community. That was one of the messages from department officials during a virtual town hall meeting this week. Police Chief Robbie Haigh has appointed Officer Laura Gordon as the department’s new community resource officer. Haigh says among the department’s goals are to expand community policing, increase transparency with the public, and connect and work more closely with social service agencies.
