Northampton Bank Robbery Suspect Located In Charlemont

(Charlemont, MA) — A suspect in a Northampton bank robbery has been apprehended in Charlemont. State Police Spokesperson David Procopio said Northampton Police responded to reports of a bank robbery at People’s United Bank on King Street at around 11:30 Thursday. The suspect reportedly fled in a pickup truck to a Charlemont home, where he was arrested by State Troopers. Arraignment is expected later today.
