Greenfield Temporary Fire Station Negotiations Continue

(Greenfield, MA) — Progress continues on an effort to build a new temporary Greenfeld fire station. The Fire Station Building Committee is currently negotiating with a firm to provide trailers to temporarily house offices and sleeping quarters for the department. The temporary building is set to be housed in a municipal parking area on Hope Street. The current fire station property is expected to house the city’s new library.
