(Greenfield, MA) — The ongoing effort to create a “greener” Greenfield continues. Eversource has announced a new initiative which would make a series of energy efficiency upgrades at the Elm Terrace Apartments. The project calls for the installation of 180 heating and cooling systems at the senior housing complex, which could save several thousand dollars in heating costs per year. The upgrades will be free to the city and the Greenfield Housing Authority, which manages the Elm Terrace facility.
