Chicopee Police Asking Public To Leave Search For Aiden Blanchard To The Professionals

(Chicopee, MA) There are some conflicting reports circulating regarding the search for 11 year old Aiden Blanchard. The Chicopee Police are requesting that, despite a request that may have gone out to local media from a different party, the public leave the search effort to the police department and stay out of the river.

“The search poses many safety concerns from the temperature of the water, ice, debris, and the strength of the current,” said the department on social media.

All agencies involved are continuing with the recovery efforts at this time.
