(Shutesbury, MA) — The Franklin County town of Shutesbury may be about to become the center of the state’s burgeoning solar industry. Five different solar projects are under consideration, which, if approved, would give Shutesbury the distinction of hosting what is believed to be the largest solar array development in all of Massachusetts. In addition to generating several dozen megawatts of new solar power, the host agreements could net the town several hundred thousand dollars a year in new revenue.
