(Greenfield, MA) — Greenfield is about to get some new sidewalks. The state has awarded nearly $4-point-5 million in “Complete Streets” Grants, just under $400,000 of which will come to Greenfield to improve sidewalks in many of the neighborhoods near Greenfield High School. Areas expected to receive new walkways include Chapman, Cleveland, Birch and Vernon streets. The project is expected to break ground next spring or summer.
