Chimney Fire In Plainfield Grows Into Structure Fire

(Ashfield, MA) A chimney fire in Plainfield on Tuesday quickly grew into a structure fire, according to the Ashfield Fire Department. The Ashfield Fire Department was called to assist for what was initially a chimney fire, but was notified that the fire had grown into a structure fire enroute. Ashfield and Cummington both assisted with the four hour effort to put out the fire.
