(Deerfield, MA) — Progress continues on plans for a new Deerfield recreational park. The new park is being planned for a tract of land north of Frontier Regional School on North Main Street. Part of the property was taken by eminent domain last year, over the objections of the previous owners. One of the issues which may have to be addressed involves rezoning the area, a topic which will likely come up for discussion at the next Deerfield Annual Town meeting.
