(Greenfield, MA) — Close to 400 area seniors will enjoy free ham dinners this Easter, thanks to the efforts of a local media personality. It’s the fourth year local Robert Campbell, better known as “DJ Bobby C,” has spearheaded the annual fundraiser, which sees local elders presented with hams from Market Basket in Athol and $15 dollar gift cards from Foster’s Supermarket. The goodies were distributed by Franklin County TRIAD officials this week, and were made possible, in part, by a donation from Steve Capshaw at Valley Steel Stamp and through the efforts of Montague Elks Lodge 2521 and the Marine Corps League’s Oak Ridge Detachment.
