(Buckland, MA) — Fans of a popular local attraction will have to wait a while longer to make a visit. Today is the day the Bridge of Flowers in Shelburne Falls would normally open for the spring season, but the committee which oversees the operation of the bridge says it will remain closed due to the ongoing COVID 19 pandemic. The bridge was closed to the public all of last year as well, but officials say it’s possible the bridge could reopen to visitors in 2021 if the health threat posed by the pandemic alleviates.
