(Greenfield, MA) — Supporters of a new Greenfield Public Library are gearing up for a final push to raise funds for that project. A citizen’s group has been working to raise $2 million dollars to support construction of the new $20 million dollar library, which is set to be built on a parking lot between the current library and Greenfield’s post office. The effort has already raised $1.7 million, with the hope of raising the final $300,000 before ground breaks later this year.
