(Greenfield, MA) — A series of proposed charter changes could be in front of the Greenfield City Council by the end of this month. The Charter Review Committee will hold its final meeting April 26th, after which it will forward its recommendation on potential changes to the council for its consideration. It will be up to the council to then decide which, if any, of those changes will be the basis for special state legislation, which is the process for amending home rule charters in Massachusetts.
