(undated) — Spring is here, but winter may not be done with us yet. A Winter Storm Warning is in effect from Thursday night through Friday evening for western Hampshire, Franklin and Berkshire counties. Snowfall amounts of six to nine inches are expected in the warning area while one to four inches could fall in the rest of the region. The storm has forced the state to delay a planned closure of the Turners Falls Bridge from Friday to Saturday. A COVID clinic scheduled for Friday in Charlemont has also been postponed until Saturday because of the weather.
