(Greenfield, MA) — After almost 12 years of waiting, the city of Greenfield is inching closer to getting a new skateboard park. The Greenfield City Council last night approved a fiscal 2022 capital budget which includes $350,000 for construction of a new park on an as-yet-unidentified tract of land. City officials say the appropriation is expected to make it easier for Greenfield to qualify for the state grant money needed to bring the park from concept to reality.
