(undated) — If you drive with a suspended license in Massachusetts, be prepared to soon pay stiffer penalties. Governor Charlie Baker has proposed new legislation that would strengthen “Haley’s Law”, a 2014 measure named after a Sharon woman who died after being struck by a driver with a suspended license. Baker’s bill would create harsher penalties for people who drive with a suspended license, especially if they drive recklessly or hurt or kill someone in the process.
