(Deerfield, MA)  — The town of Deerfield has two new planning board members. Kathleen Sylvester and Andrea Leibson were among the top vote-getters in a five-way race for three, three-year planning board seats in this week’s Deerfield Annual Town election. Incumbent Planning Board member Rachel Blain received the most votes with 418, followed by Sylvester with 354 and Leibson with 338. First time candidate Mark Brennan and incumbent Planning Board member Max Antes finished fourth and fifth with 282 and 184 votes respectively. All other candidates were elected without opposition in Monday’s balloting.
