(Northampton, MA) Overnight Northampton Police responded to two separate overdose incidents. According to the Northampton Police, the incidents took place within hours of each other and in both Narcan was used to treat the patients. Both patients were transported to the hospital for further evaluation.
Earlier in the week, the Northampton Police identified an impaired operator on King Street. A field sobriety test was administered. The male allegedly attempted to escape police by jumping back into the vehicle and drive it away. Multiple officers were required to restrain the individual and two sustained minor injuries.
