(Greenfield, MA) — The city of Greenfield is teaming up with a social service agency to provide new options for residents to dispose of used needles and other sharp instruments. The city has announced a new partnership with Tapestry Health Systems which will see four new sharps disposal containers installed at the Greenfield Energypark, Green River Park, Hillside Park and outside the Greenfield Fire Station on Main Street. The intent is to reduce the potential for injuries which can occur when sharps are disposed of improperly.
