The town of Charelmont, Massachusetts has released new guidance for residents urging and abundance of caution to slow the spread of Covid-19. The Board of Health is working closely with MEMA, FEMA, and FRCOG to coordinate the fight against the virus. These are Federal, State, and Local organizations that can advise the Board of Health, EMS, and EMD.
“We now have Community Transmission. This means that it is verified in town,” the press release states. To slow the spread of the transmission, the town is urging everyone to consider others to be contagious with the disease and practice social distancing as outlined by the CDC. This includes remaining six feet apart, wash hands frequently, avoid touching the face, and stay home.
“Unless you know all locations, interactions and activities of everyone with whom you meet, again, assume that person is contagious,” the town urged in the statement.
At this time, restrictions are in place until further notice.
