Bernardston Fire Department Expansion To Move Forward

(Bernardston, MA) — It looks like the town of Bernardston will finally get an expanded fire station. Bernardston residents this week approved a Proposition 2 ½ debt exclusion to fund the nearly $3 million dollar expansion which will include a new four-bay garage, expanded officer space and a new parking lot. The project was approved at the most recent annual town meeting. Just over 11 percent of Bernardston residents cast ballots in this week’s election.
