(Northfield, MA) — Northfield officials will be talking about solar power once again tonight. The Northfield Planning Board is expected to open deliberations on a series of large dual-use solar arrays being proposed for Pine Meadow Road. The controversial project has been the focus of numerous public hearings and debates over the past year. Altogether, the three proposed arrays would generate about 10.5 megawatts of power for the community. The meeting gets underway at 4pm via Zoom technology.
