Police say a father and his two sons, aged 10 and 12, were riding on Whately Road at around 10pm when their vehicle left the road and hit a tree. The younger son had to be extricated from the car using the Jaws of Life. He was airlifted to Baystate Medical Center. The father and his older son were taken by ambulance to Baystate Franklin Medical Center.
