(LEVERETT, MA)– The motorcyclist involved in a crash in Leverett Sunday has died.
Authorities today have identified him as Craig M. Vosburgh, 46, of Agawam. The accident occurred around 5 p.m. Sunday, May 23, on Cave Hill Road in Leverett. Vosburgh’s motorcycle went off the road into a soft shoulder, crashing about 20 feet off the roadway. Leverett police performed CPR after which Vosburgh was transported by ambulance to Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, where he was pronounced dead the morning of Wednesday, May 26.
The crash remains under investigation by State Police troopers assigned to the Northwestern District Attorney’s Office as well as the State Police Collision Analysis & Reconstruction Section.
