(undated) — The Massachusetts Senate has finished most of its budget work for the year. Franklin-Berkshire Senator Adam Hinds has announced that the Senate on Thursday passed its version of a $47.7 billion dollar budget for the fiscal year which begins July first. Hinds says the budget “recommends targeted investments to address emerging needs, and safeguards the health and wellness of the most vulnerable population.” It will eventually be merged with the House version of the budget before heading to Governor Baker for consideration.
