(Northampton, MA) — A Northampton business has been heavily damaged by a Monday afternoon structure fire. According to the Northampton Fire Department, crews returning from a false alarm call in Florence were dispatched to a fire on West Street at East Heaven Hot Tubs. Multiple crews responded, shut down the street, and quickly contained the blaze.There is apparently significant damage to the rooftop area, but the building itself is salvageable. Quick work by fire crews prevented the blaze from spreading to other structures nearby. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
