(undated) — A compromise bill to keep certain COVID-era restrictions in place is headed to Governor Baker’s desk. State legislators worked late into Tuesday night finalizing the measure, which would allow towns to continue to allow remote public meetings, and continue outdoor dining options and to-go cocktail sales, among others. Those options ended at midnight Tuesday when the commonwealth’s year-long state of emergency was discontinued. Baker is expected to sign the bill into law.
