(undated) — Massachusetts lawmakers are taking another stab at getting driver’s licenses into the hands of undocumented residents. The bill filed by State Senator Adam Gomez of Springfield Is estimated to generate around $5-million in new tax revenue, as well as fees from inspections and license renewals. Supporters say allowing undocumented people to get a license will make it easier for them to join a workforce badly in need of new people. Governor Baker has not said whether he would sign the bill if it gets to his desk.
