(Hadley, MA) A Hatfield 28 year old man was placed under arrest by Hadley police Sunday night when he was stopped on River Drive. During the stop, officers conducted an investigation and located a loaded handgun, three full magazines and 55 rounds of ammunition. Officers also determined that the man was allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol. The man is charged with operating under the influence, negligent operation of a vehicle, open container of alcohol in a vehicle, speeding, intoxicated licensee carrying of a firearm, improper storage of a fire arm.
