(Greenfield, MA) –Still no swimming at the Green River Swimming Area in Greenfield. Swimmers have not been allowed in the water because of persistent high bacteria levels due to heavy rain all month. The park itself remains open, and city officials hope to give the OK for swimming in the river as soon as test results allow.
