(Greenfield, MA) — A Vermont man who led police on a two-state car chase last year will spend the next 33 months in the Franklin House of Correction. Daniel Williams of South Burlington, Vermont pleaded guilty to multiple charges in connection with the June 2020 chase which began as a carjacking in Vermont and ran through western Franklin County before ending on the Mohawk Trail in Greenfield with Williams suffering a gunshot wound to the arm. He will receive credit for 406 days he spent in jail awaiting trial, and will serve two years probation upon release.
