(undated) — A return to “Happy Hour” in Massachusetts will likely be decided by a state commission. The happy hour concept was officially banned by the state in 1984 after a number of drunk driving accidents. A bill has been filed to create a commission to look into not only bringing happy hour back, but also permanently extending certain pandemic-related changes, such as cocktails to go and extended outdoor dining.
