(Turners Falls, MA) — Unity Park in Turners Falls was alive with the sound of music Sunday as over 1,000 people turned out for a live concert to celebrate radio station WRSI, The River. The station turns 40 this year, and fans were treated to a day packed with food and music in near-perfect conditions. The free event was sponsored by the radio station and a number of local businesses as well as the Shea Theater Arts Center.
