(Deerfield, MA) — The South County Senior Center no longer has a director. Former Director Christina Johnson resigned her position July 21st. No reason was given, but the senior center was the focus of a series of private executive sessions of the Deerfield Selectboard over the last few weeks. Officials from the senior center’s member towns of Deerfield, Sunderland and Whately are working to develop an updated job description before opening up a search for a new director.
