(Warwick, MA) — The town of Warwick is looking for some federal help in repairing the damage caused by July’s heavy rains. The town estimates that between $1.5 and $2 million dollars in road damage were incurred during last month’s storms. Officials are hoping to secure grants through the Federal Emergency Management Agency, which typically cover up to 75 percent of the repair costs with the remainder borne by the town.
