(Deerfield, MA) — Students at Frontier Regional and Union 38 schools will be wearing masks while indoors this school year. That was the decision following a joint meeting this week between district officials and health boards in the member towns of Conway, Deerfield, Sunderland and Whately. Not everyone in attendance agreed with the policy, which allows for exemptions for special education students and those with medical needs. District schools will also continue to take part in rapid antigen and pool testing in an effort to control any potential spread of the Delta variant.
