(Franklin County, MA) The National Hurricane Center has reported that Hurricane Henry has made landfall near Westerly, Rhode Island early Sunday afternoon. Winds are still tracked at 60mph, with wind gusts of up to 70mph, but Henri has taken another jig to the west and is now tracked back over the Berkshires. Winds are forecasted to 30mph in the area with flooding rains still possible. While the trajectory of the center of the storm is shifting, storm impacts will extend up to 100 miles outside of the center. Henri is moving at 12mph and the worst of the storm should hit the area Sunday night. Flooding rains are still predicted for Monday but Henri should be moving towards New Hampshire Monday night.
