(Amherst, MA) Hampshire College has stepped up to help those in need during the COVID-19 pandemic. On campus housing, that is no longer being used by students, will be used to house homeless individuals who test positive for COVID-19 and are told to self isolate. If left on the street, these individuals are at risk for developing further complications and spreading the disease further. In addition to housing, the college will provide three meals a day to homeless individuals housed on campus during the pandemic.
