Massachusetts School Mask Mandate Could Be Lifted With 80 Percent Vax Rate

(undated) — Masks and face coverings are still required in Massachusetts public schools until October first. But after that, districts may be able to waive the mask mandate under one condition–districts must prove that 80 percent of their students, faculty and staff have been vaccinated against the virus. Those numbers would have to be submitted to the state for final approval before the mask mandate can be waived.
