Northampton Prelim Election Is Tuesday, Light Turnout Expected

(Northampton, MA) — One more day of campaigning for candidates before tomorrow’s preliminary election. The marquee race features a four-way race for mayor. The two top vote-getters will square off in November for the right to succeed incumbent Mayor David Narkewicz, who is not seeking re-election. There are also a number of primary races for city council. Turnout in Tuesday’s primary is expected to be light.
