(undated) — Massachusetts school students will be wearing masks for a little while longer. The Department of Early and Secondary Education, or DESE, has extended the in-school mask mandate to November first. The latest mandate was to have expired October 1. The mandate extends to indoors and school buses only, and after October 15, any school that demonstrates a vaccination rate of 80 percent or more of students and staff will be exempt from the mask requirement for vaccinated individuals only.
