(Colrain, MA) — Emergency crews spent the better part of Tuesday morning cleaning up a spill on Main Road in Colrain. Fire officials say the spill occurred at around 8:40am when a nontoxic polymer poured out of a dumpster that was being removed from a mill facility. The amount was small but extended along much of the center of the road. State officials determined that the spill would need to be covered and removed using a street sweeper. No environmental impact from the spill was reported.
