(Sunderland, MA) — If your travel plans include heading through the center of Sunderland today, you might want to allow for some extra time. An ongoing road milling operation near the intersection of North Main and School streets is likely to create difficulty for traffic merging at the intersection of Routes 116 and 47, which could cause some delays mostly for eastbound traffic. The work being done is the final step before a long-awaited final paving of Route 47, which begins next week.
