(undated) — If the fall foliage colors in the region aren’t quite as brilliant as we are used to, there is a reason. Meteorologists say this summer’s exceedingly wet weather is likely a contributing factor to relatively dull foliage colors this autumn. They say the large amount of rain we experienced caused undue stress to many trees, which may have caused some of them to shed their leaves prematurely and affect the colors on others.
