(undated) — Failing to buckle up in Massachusetts could cost you some money. The House is debating a bill which would create a “primary seat belt law,” which would allow people to be pulled over for not wearing a belt and be charged a $50 dollar fine. The seatbelt violation would apply to both drivers and passengers, and an additional 50 dollar fine would be added if someone under 16 if found not to be buckled in.
