(Pittsfield, MA) — Berkshire-Franklin State Rep. Paul Mark is looking to change jobs.
Mark has announced his candidacy for a Senate seat representing the Berkshire, Franklin, Hampshire, Hampden Senate district. That position is currently held by Senator Adam Hines, who is leaving to run for lieutenant governor.
“It is an honor to have spent the past 10 years fighting in collaboration with you all for the people of Western Mass.,” Mark said in his campaign announcement. “I look forward to continuing our fight in the Senate.”
Mark has spent the last decade representing the Second Berkshire District, which currently includes the city of Greenfield. He made his announcement during a campaign stop in Pittsfield yesterday.
