(Greenfield, MA) — It looks like Greenfield will have two representatives in the Massachusetts House. Despite opposition from a number of officials including the mayor, the House and Senate have approved a redistricting plan which splits Greenfield among the First and Second Franklin districts, which are currently represented by Natalie Blais and Susannah Whipps, respectively. Greenfield had previously been part of the Second District until 10 years ago, when it was moved to the Second Berkshire District, which is currently represented by Paul Mark, who is running for State Senate this year.
